The Arkansas Angels started out as the Arkansas Angels Pageant in 2010 from the dreams of a little girl, Andrea Gayle Thorn. She wanted to be in a pageant just like her sister so her mother set out to make that dream come true. Much like Andrea’s life, in which she was always growing and adapting to the world around her, her legacy, the Arkansas Angels, has grown from a single pageant each year to a 501c3 organization accommodating many avenues of celebrating and supporting the lives of individuals with special needs.
We aim to promote inclusion by showing the equality of beauty of every person, inside and out, no matter the ability. It is our mission to always provide our services and events for free to our Angel families, and we pride ourselves in leaving no detail unturned in our quest to make each individual feel as important as we know they are.
